The packaging machine is used for packing agricultural produce (onions, carrots, potatoes, etc.). The machine functions as part of a production line. The machine control unit is equipped with an electronic scale, which can be preset to a selected value (weight of the packed product). The product (e.g. potatoes) is emptied into the charging hopper, from where it is transported by a belt conveyor and dropped into a container. When the selected weight is reached, the machine stops automatically and the container, filled to the specified weight, is emptied into a bag.
